“Togetherness” was our inspiration to show people forming iconic moments from United Way’s programs. All of the people were shot in the exact position and angle they’d be placed in the compositions. We rented a high-school gym and a cherry picker to get the angles right. Then our retoucher assembled hundreds of individual shots and retouched each connection point to make seamless images.
